Regrid ID Regression

We have identified issues with approximately 2.4M parcels where the Regrid ID was not correctly persisted:

  1. An intermittent bug in our Regrid ID (ll_uuid) handling led to the IDs of approximately 960,000 parcels not being preserved correctly between the most current parcel data and the previous update of the county. These Regrid ID values were marked as preserved with the ll_stable_id attribute between updates, but new IDs were inadvertently issued.

  2. Additionally, we discovered that our release of Harris, TX in January 2025 did not persist IDs from the previous version. That impacted approximately 1.5M parcels.

We have taken steps to prevent this issue from occurring in the future and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Bridge file

We have a bridge file available that links the impacted IDs to the current stable IDs.

Using the bridge file

Update any previous IDs using this bridge table:

  1. Ensure you have the latest Regrid parcel data ingested. This will ensure that you have the correct IDs available.
  2. Use the ll_uuid_previous value in the bridge file to identify impacted records in your deployment or data stack.
  3. Update your records to set the Regrid ID to the matching, stable ll_uuid value in the bridge file.

How do I know if I’m impacted?

If you store the Regrid ID (ll_uuid) attached to your internal records and were a customer before April 1, 2025, this issue applies to you.

You likely do not need to take action if you display our tile layer, Feature Service, or other records in your apps or system, but don’t create/link other records to that data, or if you use the parcel data but do not compare backwards . Our APIs always present the most current Regrid data.

In what circumstances are Regrid IDs expected to change?

Some changes occur naturally as parcels split, are combined, digitized, additional records are added, and in limited other circumstances. We have detailed documentation on the Regrid ID and how to identify changes using the ll_stable_id column on our Regrid ID support page
