Configuring Snowflake for Secure Share Delivery

Introduction

Regrid provides its Premium schema nationwide parcel data directly to clients on the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.

Beta delivery method

We are rolling out Snowflake delivery as a beta and depending on feedback, we may make structural changes to improve the experience. We expect the beta period to be complete in late 2024.

Prerequisites

  • Familiarity with Snowsight, the Snowflake web interface
  • An account with the ACCOUNTADMIN role, or another role with the CREATE DATABASE and IMPORT SHARE privileges.

Step-by-Step

  1. Log in to the Snowsight website
  2. In the lower left of the screen, access the account selector by clicking on your currently logged in account name
  3. Slide down to the 'Account' section of the pop-up menu
  4. Slide over and down to the 'Account Name' pop-out menu
  5. Slide over to the 'Copy Account Identifier' icon and click the icon.
  6. Paste the 'Account Identifier' into an email and send to: tech@regrid.com

The 'Account Identifier' is a two part string with a period (.) between the two parts, e.g. STRLMDH.ST0823
